The Third meeting is in Arcos de  Valdevez ,PORTUGAL

At the beginning of the meeting students presented their photos from Albi with a small text.

Here are ours;

    ALBI

        This building reminded me of my hometown. There are many old buildings like this in the old settlement of my hometown.

         I love the harmony of stone and wood. This picture is one of the best example of it . But the best thing is that the new structures are in harmony with the ancient ones.

New buildings did not cover up the beauty of the old buildings. This is magnificent .

SAINTE  CECILE  CATHEDRAL

          it's a very interesting place for me. Because I'm muslim and in my country there aren't any cathedrals

         like that.Its ceiling is blue. I learnt   that it represents the heaven in the sky. There are a lot of statues and paintings in the cathedral.

         Every painting has a different meaning. Its entrance was showy. There are some angels and there is a statue of Mary in the entrance .

         In the angels' hands  there are hammers. Upstairs is like a museum  . There is a big musical instrument . It's only played on special days.

        This place is very different from our mosques so it was very different experience for me.

 A STREET FROM ALBI

      This place is the one of my favorite places. I really like this street . It's small but quite lovely. How much cute do the  colors and plants indicate any streets?

This photo is a good example to it.They make the street lovely and charming. The  length of the  buildings are the same. Absence of tall buildings made the street brighter .
